Vidbir 2025 Song Rankings

Ukraine will soon make its choice for Eurovision, but first, who will win Vidbir 2025 and earn the right to represent that country?

In the midst of ongoing tough times in Ukraine, the music scene has remained strong, and their commitment to excellence in the Eurovision Song Contest is notable.  Can Ukraine keep things rolling in 2025 with another good showing?  To find that out, we will have to know which of the ten Vidbir 2025 performing acts will win that final.

So, When Is Vidbir 2025?

Vidbir is taking place on one night, Saturday, 8 February.  Ukraine’s choice for Eurovision will be determined by the end of the show.

What Happened in Ukraine Last Year?

Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil won Vidbir 2024 with their song “Teresa and Maria.”  Its public vote margin was massive, though it won by just two points over Ziferblat, who are competing again in 2025.  You may also recall that the results were not announced that night, as the public voting app crashed during Vidbir.

At Eurovision, “Teresa and Maria” impressed and they finished in third place.

In this video, we keep it short and sweet, introducing all ten songs and then presenting our top five, with a brief rationale for each choice.  We could have done all ten, perhaps, but at the end of the day, it’s more important for you to know the songs we view as the top contenders rather than go over the ones we don’t.

Yes, some of the ones we did not choose might be your favorites, and that’s okay. Really, it’s okay.
