Eurovision History

1 / 1

Apparently, we can’t get enough of the 2024 Eurovision previews and even some predictions.

For the first time in the short but illustrious history of this plot of internet land, we have taken to The Euro Yard’s YouTube channel to spill the tea in regards to the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. With the first semifinal just a few days away, we go through the running order, our predicted ten qualifiers from both Tuesday and Thursday, as well as our (grand) final thoughts.

A few countries of interest we touch upon in the 2024 Eurovision previews, and some questions around them:

  • Greece: It’s very different from everything else in the field this year, but is that going to help or hurt their chances?
  • Italy: Checks a lot of the right boxes, but can it win despite not leading in the odds?
  • Croatia: It’s a near-lock that it’s going to do very well, but how well?
  • Switzerland and The Netherlands: Are we believers in Nemo and/or Joost Klein’s songs and whether they actually have what it takes to go all the way?
  • Ukraine: It’s going to have some broad appeal, but broad enough?

We also give you our 20 qualifiers. What else could you want?
