Eurovision 2025 Song Reactions: Pick 20

At last, our Eurovision 2025 song reactions are here. Well, not all of them, but 20 of them. That’s more than half, at least.

Why 20 and not all 37? For one thing, time is a fleeting thing, and that’s a lot of additional time. We don’t have all day, that’s for sure. Running multiple websites is tough business (more information can be found in the menu bar, for those curious). Besides, 20 is a nice round number.

In any event, the 2025 contest is approaching fast, so before we get into any predictions, the time has come for us to let you know what this website really thinks about some of the more prominent entries. The format of this video is that 20 songs were selected out of all 37 – and please, try not to get upset if your favorite wasn’t one of them – the order was randomized, and we go into at least one pro and at least one con about each. The goal here is to try to be as fair as possible, discussing both positives and negatives, while being as respectful to the artists and their contributions as possible.

Eurovision 2025 Song Reactions: Why These 20?

There was some strategy to these selections. They included:

  • Incorporating The Euro Yard’s favorites from this year.
  • Evaluating most of the understood contenders.
  • Involving a few songs that we might not like, but others might find interesting.

When Are Your Predictions Coming?

The goal is to start publishing our official (and probably wrong) predictions about two to three weeks before the contest, which is due to start on 13 May in Basel, Switzerland. Be on the lookout for those soon, because there is much to discuss.
